1. What is Weather Protection?
Weather Protection is an optional add-on that provides the ability to request a full refund if bad weather cancels an event. Normally when an event is canceled, all guests receive a Transfer Credit for their order amount, but with Weather Protection you will also have the option for a refund.
2. How will I know if my screening is canceled?
You’ll receive an email from us about your cancellation 1 hour or more ahead of your screening time. We will also update our website thumbnail for your event to indicate if it’s been canceled.
3. Can I get a refund without Weather Protection?
Without Weather Protection, refunds will only be offered if we need to cancel due to a technical issue on-site. Therefore if a screening is canceled due to weather and you haven't opted for Weather Protection, you can still reschedule your ticket, but won’t have the option for a refund.
4. How do I add Weather Protection to my booking?
During the checkout process, you’ll see an option to add Weather Protection to your ticket. Simply select this option before completing your purchase.
5. Can I add Weather Protection after I’ve made my booking?
Unfortunately, Weather Protection can only be added at the time of booking and cannot be added retroactively.
6. How do I reschedule if my screening is canceled?
If your screening is canceled and you want to transfer your tickets to another event, we’ll include rescheduling instructions in the email we send. Please note, you will have to re-purchase Weather Protection for the event you transfer to.
7. What if the weather improves after a cancellation?
Once a screening is canceled, the decision is final. Even if the weather clears up, the screening won’t be reinstated, so we recommend staying updated by checking the screening status or your email.
8. What if I don’t receive a cancellation email?
We always aim to notify you at least one hour before the screening, however if you don’t receive an email and you’re unsure about the status of your screening, you can check the status online or contact customer support.
9. How long does it take to receive a refund if I opt for one?
Refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days. However, depending on your bank, it may take a little longer for the funds to appear in your account.
10. Can I switch my refund option to rescheduling or vice versa?
Once you’ve chosen a refund or reschedule option, it can’t be changed. Please decide carefully based on what works best for you!
11. Why can’t I add Weather Protection for a special event?
Special events do not have the option for Weather Protection, so all guests would receive a Transfer Credit if we have to cancel due to weather.
