Our age policy may vary depending on the day of the week and time of day. Generally, we aim to create a more adult-oriented atmosphere for screenings later in the evening.
However, the definitive guideline for each event is the age restriction icon displayed next to the listing. This icon will always indicate the specific age requirement for that screening. For example, a 16+ event means guests under 16 are not permitted even with adult supervision.
General Age Restrictions by Location
- South Beach, Uptown, Fulton & Midtown: Screenings before 6 PM (Mon–Thurs) and 4:30 PM (Fri–Sun & holidays) are all ages. After that, guests must be 16+ and with an adult (18+)
- Little Italy & Fort Worth: Screenings before 6 PM (Mon–Thurs) and before 4:30 PM (Fri–Sun & holidays) are open to all ages. After that, guests must be 13+ and accompanied by an adult (18+).
- DTLA: All screenings at are 16+ only. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
- Kansas City Crossroads: All screenings at are 16+ only. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult (21+).
- Peckham & Stratford (UK): Under 18s are welcome before 5pm – after that, it's strictly adults-only. Please note, a physical ID is required for any age-restricted event.

Fireside Events!
Our special Fireside season in the winter for select venues offers heaters in the cinema area for some guests, but as a safety precaution children under 13 and pets are not permitted to these Fireside events (service animals are of course permitted to all of our events). Please check for age restriction tags on each event page.

For venues that welcome kids, our one-size headphones fit comfortably for children ages 5 and up. Please also note that little ones sitting on a parent’s lap do not need their own ticket!

US: One last thing, alcohol is strictly for guests who are 21+ with a valid ID. If you look under 25, expect to be carded—we’re just doing our job, not complimenting your skincare routine.
